STORY

Based in Western Massachusetts, The Accountable Publishing Company, an independent, nonpartisan publisher, was founded in Boston in 1993. Formed and run by writers, we have published magazines, books, newspapers, web sites and political art on both US coasts.

 

Starting with America in Decline (1993) Deep Style (1995), Why Are We Losing Our Freedom? (1996), most recently we published Spectacle of Enlightenment (2018), authored by Eduardo Subirats (NYU), Christopher Britt (GWU) and editor Paul Fenn, with original art by Anita Pantin. In 2023, we launched a Northampton  newspaper,The Wry Maker, for sale in pay boxes on the streets of Northampton, and Mediarchy, our web news platform.  See FAQ Page.
